This week I have been looking in the past. Thinking of what I could have done, should have done, or would have done.. if only... wishing that I could go back to the "good ole days", but only for a little while. You know, when life was "simple". But were those days really simple? No, no, I don't believe so.
So why is it that I care soo much about what people (old friends from the past) think of me? Am I really that unsure of myself? I'm pretty sure that I know where I stand in this life..so why do I let other people's judgments stand in the way of my happiness?
I guess.. when it comes down to it.. you realize who your true friends are.
I just wish I had more.
but in the mean time.. I'm leaving the past behind.
...looking ahead.
if you want to be in my life.. then be in it.
if you miss me.. then don't tell me. just do something about it.
My new motto in life:
Live The Present
Create The Future
&
Turn From The Past
peace&love.

New Year!
Soo I know that it is already January 10th, but I never got a chance to sayyyyy, "Happy New Year"! I can hardly believe it is the year 2012 already! It seems like it was just yesterday that I was pregnant with my sweet baby girl Hadley! Ahhh a new year... I wonder what will be in store for us! I will make sure that I put more effort into this blog, even though no one reads it. LOL. Oh well, more fun for me!
So one of Hadley's presents that Daddy and I got her was a walker! She is actually pretty good with it now. She just doesn't have much room to walk around in the RV.
We also went to Lubbock for Christmas to visit on my mom's side of the family. It was a great visit except for the fact that one of my family members had an accident and had to end up in surgery. We didn't really get to visit all that much.. but it was still great to see the family and the friends as much as we could!
We ended up getting a BADASS new camera from my mom and rick! We LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE IT!!! It's a Nikon D3100 ! Takes great shots and videos! I will be taking some great photos with it and will share with whoever even reads this (if anyone).
In other news... Hadley has FINALLY popped her first tooth! HOORAY! It happens to be on the bottom left. It's oh soo cute.. but LORD is it a pain in the ass when they are cutting!!!
While I'm on the topic, last night was HORRIBLE! I swear the child was possessed by the teething monster. She was screaming in brutal pain.. I gave her Orajel and teething tablets but nothing, and I mean NOTHING. was soothing her. I pretty much just nursed her until she fell asleep.. (which was a little over 2 hours of nursing) YIKES!! I will be happy once the rest of them come in so we can be over and done with this. And I'm sure Hadley feels the same. Poor booboo.
Another milestone Hadley has reached isssss standing up!!! She has become pretty damn good at it too! Although, she mainly only does it on the bed. I have been trying to motivate her on the floor with it but she is just not all that interested. She'd rather jump. haha. well.. here is a pic of her standing on the bed:
Yes it's sideways^^ get over itttt. :)
She spreads her legs out reeallll wide while she is standing up.. it's pretty cute! c: hehe.
Well.. I guess that is all. I will leave you all with a sweeeet picture I took on my phone yesterday after a long days play :)

Do you have the spirit?
play music below and then continue reading:
So here I am.. TRYING my hardest to get into the Christmas spirit!
I don't know if I am just not feeling it this year because there is no snow on the ground or because it has just barely become jacket weather.
I have been watching youtube channels on how people have been decorating their homes and making yummy Christmas goodies and now I some what wish that I had started out a bit earlier on making this Christmas a bit more decorative and fun considering it is Hadley's very first Christmas!
So here is what I have decided to do:
I will make Tyler, Hadley and I Christmas stockings and find great little goodies to stuff in them for our family!
And after this Christmas I will head over to Hobby Lobby and go apeshit buying Christmas decorations for next year! All of the decorations are much, much cheaper the day after Christmas... HOORAH!
But until then I will decorate my blog with a cute little Christmas layout!
Have I typed the word "Christmas" enough for you? :)
So here is a little update on what has been going on around the Hays house hold..
Hadley had gotten sick a couple of weeks ago.. Nothing too serious but she did have to be put on antibiotics for a sinus infection and the poor girl had a horrid fever! UGH! I cannot stand antibiotics. They gave her a horrible diaper rash and she was in such a bad mood for about a week. Thankfully, after the antibiotics had all been taken and a few days had passed, the rash disappeared, and I had my wonderful baby boo back! :)
Over the weekend we had Christmas at my Grandparents' house. Hadley had lots and lots of fun hanging out with her cousins and the rest of the family.
Yesterday morning I woke up with a bit of mastitis.. it was sooo painful.. I had fever for a while but I did everything in my power to unclog the pipes and luckily it worked! No antibiotics for me! I still feel a slight pain but nothing compared to how it felt when I woke up. Daddy came home and gave me a wonderful back massage and I felt soo much better. Woke up this morning with no fever! Ahhhh lucked out on that one!
As for my last post about the formula feeding.. I had to stop because of the fact that Hadley got sick and I didn't want to put her through any stress while she was not feeling soo good in the first place. She seems to be all healed up now so I'm thinking about getting her on the bottle again. We shall see.
Well, I guess that is all! Leave me kind words people!

i was going to upload a video of her opening her 1st present but for some reason it wouldn't upload :(
but here she is playing pattycake!!:
I also had my 21st birthday! G and Papa babysat for us and we went out to the Buck Horn bar in Llano and got a hotel room right down the road for the night. Let's just say.. it was a long night.. I also was unable to get pictures because I couldn't figure out how to get this video camera to take pictures! UGH! and trust me you don't want to see the footage! :) haha Yesterday morning I woke up with a bit of mastitis.. it was sooo painful.. From Breast to Formula
I have been trying to transition Hadley from breast milk to formula... and let me tell you, today, it has been a challenge. Yesterday I dropped one bm feeding and replaced it with formula and she did fine! She drank 2 1/2 oz. and ate cereal. She then wanted to take a nap but the ONLY way she was doing it was if she had NeeNee (bm). soo I strapped her in her baby carrier and she whined a tiny bit and then fell asleep! (miracle). So this morning.. I had been up since about 4:30..off and on. I was EXHAUSTED, then I remembered!... AH yes! I can drink coffee and she can have her formula and by the time her bm feeding rolls around (lunch time) the coffee will have left my system... buutttttt NO. She was not having the formula this morning after she ate her cereal and I had drank 2.. count them.. 2! cups of coffee... NO BUENO. I drank about 2 bottles of water after that and kept trying to give Hadley the bottle.. but NOPE. UGH! sooo she kept screaming and I finally gave in and gave her the boob. Poor baby. I really do not want to push this on her too much and make her feel like I'm just being mean to her.. but I seriously and tired of breastfeeding. I know that there are those people out there that will give me hell for this.. and I used to care what others thought... but now I'm saying F**K IT! I can only breast feed for however long I feel that I can stand it.. and right now I feel like I am done!
So does anyone have tips on how I can make this transition a little bit easier on Hadley and myself?? I would greatly appreciate POSITIVE and informative feedback on this! please and thank you!
So on another note.. It's the 1st of December! YAAYY! Soo happy! I love December! Birthdays, Christmas, cold weather! ahhh couldn't ask for more!!
Hadley has now learned to hold her sippy cup up and drink from it on her own! sooo proud of my smart baby girl!

Where does the time go?!
7 months.
Hadley is now 7 MONTHS OLD! Oh mY GoOdNesS! She has reached soo many great milestones:waving byebye (she did this TODAY!)
crawling
standing up (with the..hardly any.. assistance of me and dada, or furniture)
saying dada, mama, baba (even though she rarely drinks for a bottle) ?
jumping ( MY GOSH THAT GIRL CAN JUMP!)
eating all different types of food!:
She absolutely LOVES peaches. They're her FAVE!
You know... when I first had Hadley people would tell me all of the time.."Enjoy her being that small.. they grow soooo fast." I always thought it was just one of those things that people just .. well.. said. haha
But, they were right! She has grown entirely too fast.. and I miss being able to just cuddle her up in my arms and watch her sleep soo soundly.
The love that I have for this little girl is far beyond what I what I ever could have imagined before I had her. This is truly the tightest bond that I have ever had with anyone and I really couldn't imagine my life without her.
I LOVE YOU HADLEY!!! xoxoxo

SLUMP.
So here is a couple of things that you (who ever is reading this..) have missed out on since I last blogged... Hadley is now saying "mama" :) and she is crawling!!! My baby girl is growing up sooooo fast! I cannot believe she is already 6 months old! That is crazy! I am sooo proud of her and love her more than I can even express!! ahhh soo anyway.. here are some pictures for your viewing delight!
I'm sorry that it has been a while since I have blogged.. I was waiting for something interesting in my life to happen so that I could type about it.. but honestly.. I ended up with nothing. I will try my hardest not to be a negative nancy on this blog.. but... ahhhh screw it! Honesty is the best policy.. isn't it?!
I have been in a HORRIBLE slump this past week.. mainly from being soo lonesome. There is nothing within a 20 mile radius from us besides more RVs.. and dirt... I have walked around trying to meet people.. but no one seems to interested in hanging out with a 20 year old stay at home mom.. and to be completely honest.. I'm not all that interested in hanging out with the people around here either! It's not that I am stuck up or anything.. I just can't seem to click with anyone.
It would be great if I had some family that were close.. but I don't... so here I am... with Hadley. DON'T get me wrong.. I LOVE HADLEY! I absolutely adore her.. but I need that grown up talk. I need out of this RV.. I need something. I seriously almost broke down in tears yesterday... but I tried to keep myself busy with house chores and youtube. I know.. I'm pathetic...
OKAY.. I'm done sulking now! Promise! I just had to get that off of my chest... Today should be a bit more exciting!! Why you ask? Welllllll.... we get to go grocery shopping! hahahah Most people would dread the thought... but I see it as an excuse to get out of the house and breath in some fresh air.. and remind myself that there is other stuff going on in the world besides staring at these same old walls!!

My Little Warrior (Fighting Sleep)!
Tonight is just one of those nights.
Does anyone else's child fight going to sleep even though they are exhausted beyond belief? I used to be able to just stick her on the boob and nurse her til she fell asleep.. but lately it has been a fight to get her to go to dream land. The past couple of nights I have just been sticking her in her baby carrier and pacing the RV until she clonked out, but it is not happening tonight (mind you.. I am nursing her right now and not just ignoring her while I blog). And it's not just night time when we have a problem with this.. it is during the day as well! Hadley will lay down for a nap.. and only 10 minutes into it she is waking up and ready to play! NOT understanding this.. I rarely ever drink caffeine.. I feed her really good before naps.. and I make it a nice and relaxing atmosphere.. Tyler and I are guessing it's because she doesn't want to miss a thing that is going on around her (and there is absolutely nothing exciting going on.. just us hanging out in the RV most of the time). My second guess is that maybe it is because we just moved to a new area and she's not used to it? Hmm.. I'm not sure.. but I'm ready for her to get back on schedule and start taking her real naps and falling asleep better at bed time.
SHE FINALLY FELL ASLEEP :)
Ahhhhhhh me time :) I would say that it is mommy and daddy time.. but daddy is out cold from working soo hard and making money to support our little family. I am soo very proud of him. I knew that he wanted to spend more time unemployed and enjoy riding the new jetski that he remodeled and turned into a hot rod, but he knew that the responsible thing to do would be to go back to work.
I honestly do not know one other man his age that has his responsibilities in order and is as mature as he is.. Ohh.. and he cooks for me :) I really did good finding the right person to make a family and spend the rest of my life with. I am so grateful to have him in my life.. and I really need to start expressing that to him more often. Sometimes I just get sooo caught up in my own world and being a mommy that I forget the other important thing, besides being a mommy, and that is showing my love for my husband. Hmm... maybe that will be something for me to do this week *Think of a cute & romantic way to show my appreciation for him :)
On another note.. Hadley ate her green beans today and she liked them! I was very impressed with how much she ate. ( I didn't over feed her though.. I've learned my lesson with that! ) Someone told me that I should just keep feeding her as long as she is reaching for the spoon or even just opening her mouth up for a bite... but this child will eat until she's spitting up like crazy! I felt really bad after that happened the first time and I'm not going down that road again! Next we will be trying peas! I really hope she likes them more than I do.. I CAN'T STAND THEM! Oh, and there is this website that I love to go to which I'm sure a lot of people have already been too.. but in case you haven't heard.. it's www.mamanatural.com and she was vlogging about all natural teething biscuits! Most definitely going to try those out in the near future.
I have a question for you mommas out there! When is it necessary to take your baby to the Dr. when it comes to a diaper rash? Hadley has had a diaper rash for over a week now and I just can't seem to help it go away.. I've tried baby powder.. Butt cream.. changing her diaper as often as possible.. and washing her thoroughly.. I use all natural wipes and chemical free diapers!! I seriously do not know where to go from here... A couple months back Hadley had a yeast rash and the Ped. gave her some nystatine (sp?) and he said I could use it in the future if she were to sprout up with a yeast again.. so I started her on it again today and it still looks the same.. maybe I should give it a couple of days and see where that leaves us? Anyway, let me know what you guys think!! I love advise and am willing to give yall's suggestions a try!
Okay.. I better go off to dreamland while I have the opportunity! Night Night World!!
