Gardening time!

The weather is nice out today and like I said in my previous post, I have been trying to find a spot that I'd like to start my garden. Well, I found it! Right beside the front porch.. Haha. I decided on this spot because there were actually onions already growing there! It was crazy.. I didn't want to hoe the poor suckers up, but they weren't getting the love and care they needed anyway with the grass sucking up all of their water. I did however, leave a few. I want to see how they turn out. Since the onions were already growing there, I felt that it was good enough soil for my jalapeƱo peppers. So as of now I have 10 peppers planted.. I know they say that you should start them indoors and then transplant them once they are a few inches tall.. But I'm fairly behind this season so I figured, what the hell. Hopefully, it all turns out okay. Tomorrow I will plant my squash and tomatoes!

Oh and my hoe broke!! :( sad times.. Haha

UPDATE!!! Finally...

HEY YALL!! I'mmmm baaaack! Did you miss me? Ehh, who am I trying to fool? I was NEVER consistent with this thing! Ready for my excuse? ..... 0k... I don't really have one. :) But as of now, I have working internet, and a device that can upload my thoughts.. cool? cool. Sooooo a lot has happened, obviously. So, instead of sitting here typing for a million years about the little details that have happened over the past year I will fill you in on what is going on now!

Trace, my almost 6 month old (whose birthday was September 14th), is almost crawling!! I mean, he practically is!! He sees somewhere he wants to go, gets into the plank position, curls one knee up underneath his stomach, and zzhhooom! pushes forward.. sometimes face planting into the floor, other times just onto his tummy. Then, he gets back up and does it over, and over again until he has reached his destination...He is soo incredibly strong! Hadley on the other hand, is a bit more experienced.. hahah THIS GIRL CAN RUN!!! And I mean, RUN. back and forth back and forth.. jump up down.. then up.. then down.. runs in a circle. "AH!", screams, then back to running.. haha she is seriously the most athletic child I have ever seen!

As for foods: I'm not sure what I posted last time, but for a while Hadley has been very sensitive to textures of different kinds of foods. It has been fairly difficult to get the girl to eat anything!! OYY VEEEHHH.Trace has barely started on solids.. so far he has tried yellow squash, rice, and refried beans. Yes, refried beans. Hahaha. My husband, Tyler, wasn't too happy that I introduced it to him but the tough ol' boy digested it juuuust fine. haha.

My kiddos have been incredibly great sleepers!! Hadley usually naps around 1:30 and will be down for a couple o hours and she sleeps through the night! Trace takes one nap in the morning and another in the evening.. each lasting around a couple of hours. He goes to bed around 7:30pm and will only wake a couple of times throughout the night to eat! Then, we're up and at it around 7:00am! Ahh.. not toooo bad if I do say so myself.... Which, I do.

Our living arrangements have been quite scattered for a while, but I think things are finally starting to calm down. :) Tyler has been working at a power plant 2 1/2 hours away from home and had been staying in an RV.. That wasn't working out toooo well for me, the kids, and the dog when we would come to visit.. soo we decided it would be best to rent a home month to month. Today was our first day here at the rental house, and I have been loving it! will update more on that later.

Okay.. gotta get dinner going! For now I will leave you with a few pictures!
XOXO

I've been meaning to do a update but things have just been really hectic lately. With the new baby on the way Tyler and I have been trying to make a few changes in our life.. Like getting a house, starting college, and preparing Hadley for her new sibling that's on the way. I haven't had a lot of breathing room or time to myself. So instead of cleaning and organizing, or studying, I am doing this much needed update. I am sorry it has taken me this long. My laptop is dead..well, it's having a slow death.. So I am here on the iPad. I am sorry if it won't let me post pictures :( Hadley has grown soo much. She is beautiful.. And a handful. Not much has changed in her discoveries from my last update except for our sleeping arrangements.. I have been letting her sleep with us. I know, not the best idea.. But it is what works for us now. We all get much more sleep and I just feel that it brings about less stress.. Which is exactly what I need. We will figure it out as we go along. I just don't see the point in fighting with her all night to get her to sleep in her own bed just because that is what everyone says is the best thing to do. Since this is what is working for us at the moment.. Then I'm all for it. Another discovery of Hadley is books. Of course she's seen me read to her and act out the whole story with different voices for different characters... What I mean is.. She pretends she is reading to Tyler and I. You can tell that she really enjoys flipping the pages and uses dramatic explanations of the pictures. It is one of the cutest things ever. So, Tyler and I are really trying to buy this house right down the road from his mother's. It is on 2 acres and I love it. It really is everything that I could wish for. The yard is big enough for the kids to run around and play, me to have my garden, and for a dog to help protect us and be a great companion for the kids. We just have to wait and see. I'm really trying hard to not get my hopes up on this one! Yes, I have kind of, sort of, started college. I am studying for the accuplacer test. Let me tell you, I am further behind in math than I thought! But, I actually do enjoy the studying. I guess it is like an escape from my every day boring routine, and it makes me feel better to know that I am headed towards a goal of mine that will ensure that I can take care of the children if anything were to happen. The weather is hot and miserable during this pregnancy.. But I am trying to pull it together so that Hadley can play outside and get some fresh air and excersice! I know we both need it. I just wish that I weren't soo tired all of the time. I know it is just the pregnancy.. So I am trying not to get too down on m lazy self. :) Other than that the pregnancy is going great and flying by faster and faster. Tyler and I still haven't picked a name yet.. But we are working on it! Well, I would love to write more but I have tons of cleaning and organizing to do! I will leave y'all with some pictures when I finally figure out how to do it from iPad 

It's been too long!

It has been forever since I last blogged.. but I figured it was okay since no one reads this anyway :P

A LOT... and I mean, A LOT has been happening.

First and foremost.. My daughter Hadley just had her 1st Birthday on the 11th!
We threw her a cute little Hungry Caterpillar birthday party..

it was very stressful getting it all put together so that is why I never got around to doing her one year post! So here it goes:

YOU'RE WALKING HADLEY!!!
she started those little baby steps on April 5th.
We woke up one morning and I just had the urge to take her to the playground area here at the RV park. As soon as I set her down in the rocks she was up and wobble walking! (Just like a little penguin) soo cute!
As the day progressed she became better and better and from there on out she has been walking!
I cried that day.
She's growing up soo fast.

She still is not sleeping through the night.
She has however, cut down to only waking up once in the night to cuddle or eat.. I can't complain.. I get 6-8 hours of sleep every night, and I feel rested when I wake.

She is now drinking 2-3 sippy cups of soy milk a day.. and she has all three meals with snacks in between. She is eating soo great now. It just took me being persistent with putting food in front of her face to get her to eat it!

No new words and I've been trying soo hard to teach her some! Like, baby, puppy, cute... Nothing. Just dada and mama. I can tell she soo badly wants to say these words but she just yells baby babbles.. I gotta say, it is very adorable.

She sometimes talks back when I tell her "No."
She will raise her voice and shout and then shake her head No.. haha. She definitely knows what that means.. I have been trying to teach her "yes".. but she has no interest. I have also been trying to teach her baby sign language.. she doesn't hold her attention long enough to look at my face and put two and two together.. That's okay though. She knows what, "You want a bite?" means and.. "Are you thirsty? Do you want a drink?" She is very smart and it amazes me what she comes to understand within the few short weeks of me teaching her.

Her favorite T.V. shows consist of Elmo's World, Pocoyo, Beginning Together (Sesame Street DVD for babies) and the Backyardigans.. She stillll loves them :) I think it's the singing and dancing.. she loves to do both. She stands up and bounces to music when it comes on and sings "la la la" ( The theme song to Elmo's World )

She loves babies.
Anything to do with her baby doll.. or real babies.. she is interested. This lady that lives a few trailers down from us has a 3 month old.. and Hadley is ALWAYS walking over to her when they're outside to get a good look at the baby. It is soo adorable.

She loves for me to read to her, and I love reading to her. I hope she keeps her interest in books. More so than movies anyway.

Hadley dear.. You have been growing up soo beautifully. You are smart and the SWEETEST baby I know. I love you.

We had an alright Easter.
Hadley got to hang with my side of the family.. and she had lots of fun playing with her cousins and hunting for easter eggs.

DRAMA QUEEN!

Like I had said at the beginning of this post, A LOT has been going on.. So let's get to it!
Tyler, Hadley and I will be adding a new addition to our little family!
That's right! We are having another baby!!
I know that I should have written this a while back.. but things have been busy, busy. SO YAH! Another baby! The majority of the people that are reading this post already know soo I didn't think it was all that important to blog about it right away, but it's time to put this all down on the blog :)
I am 4 months pregnant! This pregnancy feels like it has gone by much faster.. but it has been a bit more rough with this one.. I guess because I already have a daughter! haha.
I got my blood drawn yesterday and I am currently waiting on a text from my midwife letting me know when my gender ultrasound is! AH! I KNOW! EXCITING! We are hoping for a baby boy.. but we will be happy no matter what.
I will definitely be keep you guys updated!
Here is a picture of the little baby a month ago..

So what do you guys think?
BOY? GIRL?
leave me your guesses.

UNTIL NEXT TIME!

11 Month Update and Weather!

WHEW!
What a month it has been, what a month it HAS BEEN!
So much has happened.

1st thing's first:
11 month update for Hadley.
(1 more month till she's 1 YEAR OLD! EEEEEEP!)

She has grown soooo tall!
Seriously, it has gotten more and more difficult to hold this baby with her looooooooong legs.

Her sleeping schedule has been about the same since last time.
I feel more sleep deprived than ever.. especially with this new time change.
The only difference is the past two days she will only nap once.. for about 20 min tops!!!
no good.
no good.
She wakes up 1-2 times in the middle of the nap and just cries because she wants me to hold her. I know. I brought it onto myself.. but it really is difficult to let her cry when Tyler is sleeping just a few feet away from her and has to be up at 6 to get ready and go to work for 12 hrs a day. So, I pick her up and walk with her, and walk with her, and walk with her until she falls asleep. I haven't had a full nights sleep in FOREVER.

She is now fully on the sippy cup! She was on regular formula but Ty decided that we should switch her to soy to maybe help get rid of the ear infections..(she got a double ear infection after the flu.) Tyler and most of his siblings were on soy milk when they were toddlers. I was VERY hesitant at first with the soy.. I mean, I had read horrible things about the effects of soy. (especially in females) I won't get into it because I could go on forever and ever about it.. when it came down to it Ty and I couldn't agree on it.. so I gave in. I figured, EH, whatever. She will only be drinking it for a short while and then I can introduce milk to her again when she is older. NBD. She seems to be doing fine on soy, besides a little constipation, which I can fix, so I don't see the point in switching her again.

Walking:
She is still not walking.
She just isn't all that interested in it. However, she LOVES standing up. It makes her feel like a big girl. Every once in a while she will take a step on accident and then sits down. She just doesn't feel ready for it yet.. I guess?
That is fine with me though. I want her to walk when she is ready :)

OH BOY does this girl have attituuuuuude.
If I start to do something she doesn't like (dress her, change her diaper, offer her food she doesn't want at the moment) she throws the biggest fit. She swings her hands around and shakes her head no while she squeals. haha. It is bad. Sometimes she even hits and throws her whole body backwards. At first I wasn't sure what to do about this. I didn't know if I should tap her little hand for hitting (but it didn't seem right to counter act hitting with, well, hitting) so, I have now been grabbing her hand when she hits and I hold it there getting real close to her face and say, "No, no. That is not nice. That hurts." (even though it really doesn't, unless she hits me in the eye, which has happened!) That seems to get her to quit, most of the time, or she just cries.. which is fine with me. As long as she is not hitting.

She still pretty much eats the same things. She just hasn't eaten a lot since she got sick. I think her appetite will pick back up again once she's 100% recovered from these ear infections.

She hasn't really made any new friends. She mainly just hangs with her cousins and they have loads of fun together. She looks up to them soo much.

She seems to be minding a bit better. If I tell her no she usually quits what she is doing. (Like pulling on wires, climbing stairs, throwing stuff)

She now has 4 teeth.. 4 beautiful little teeth. And wow, can she bite. That is another habit I have been trying to break her of. I know it is hard for her to help it.. so I don't get onto her too much unless she is deliberately doing it because she is mad at me, then that is a different story.

She also now plays peek-a-boo! She puts the blanket over herself and hides.. then quickly pulls it off and laughs.. it's seriously one of the most adorable things I have ever witnessed.

We didn't have the good camera with us so these are off of my phone
So here she is @ 11 MONTHS!!:
biting herself.

about to throw a fit for taking her picture and making her wear a bow.

swinging.(before she got the flu)

eating like a big girl!

finally crashing out after a long day.

the only picture I could get her to smile in. (put her right next to the t.v....)

WELP. I guess that is about it on the 11 month post.

As for the weather... RAIN, RAIN, AND MORE RAIN.
We have been cooped up in this RV for 4 DAYS!! UAHNBKJASBFIUADF. We are going crazy. But, God knows we need the rain. So let it pour for a few days and then BE DONE! haha. I am sooo ready for some good weather! It is supposed to clear up tomorrow so I'm thinking Hadley and I will make a trip to Waco! Get some shopping done like real girls do! woo hoo! girl day!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the rain.. I know that overall, I am!!!
:)

Happy Days Everyone!!

I've got FEVER

For the past couple of weeks I have had fever...
No, no.. not high temperature fever.. DECORATING/ORGANIZING FEVER!
And this is no good for me... because I/we live in an RV!! There is no room for ANYTHING. I do not even have a closet for my vacuum! It just sits there.. out in the open.. gawking at me.. can you sense my frustration?
I am in this small RV every SINGLE day and I would like it to be... more of "My Style"... but it's just cluttered! We have absolutely NO STORAGE SPACE. Well, there is the storage underneath the RV.. but if I need something I have to go outside.. crouch down.. unlock it.. get out what I need... close it back. UGH! I wish I had someone that could teach me there ways; their minimizing JUNK ways.
You see, I like to hold on to stuff.
I guess you could say that I have..... attachment issues?
I pick up an item and I think to myself, "Is this absolutely necessary to keep?" and my answer is usually, "YES! YES, I MIGHT NEED THIS SOMEDAY . HAH.. its pretty bad.
Do you see where the problem lies?
Hm.. I guess it is time to minimize.. that means some of Tyler's stuff as well!
okay.. so here is my project.. new, clean, organized RV.. O.K. ready???
GOOOO!

wish me luck! :/
